Overview
In this article you will learn how, and where to add an individual photo or video of your facility in RecDesk.
Before You Start
You will need to set up an account in a photo/video sharing site such as Flickr, YouTube and more (see full list at Wikipedia- List of photo sharing sites). These sites are dedicated to organizing and sharing photos (or in the case of YouTube - video) and can provide a much better user experience than simply uploading a photo to RecDesk. In most instances, these services are free. These sites provide detailed instructions for working with and creating embedded content from their services.
From the Dashboard, click on the Facilities tab and select the facility that you wish to add media to. Click edit and scroll to the bottom to the Image/Photo Gallery.
Adding Photos or Video:
As you upload and create albums and/or video on these various sites, you will given the option to share them either individually, or in the case of an album, as a slideshow. All you need to do is copy the embed code that the service provides and paste it into the Image Gallery Embed Code field for the given Facility.

Embed Size Guidelines
- When given the option to set the width of the image/slideshow/video, choose 600px. Then, to make the picture responsive so it displays correctly on all sized devices, search for the word "width" and change the width="600" to width="100%".
- If possible, update URL's provided in the embed code from http:// to https://. This will ensue that in browsers such as Google Chrome, the content can be viewed appropriately whether or not the user is logged into the RecDesk Community portal or not
Tips:
Our recommendation is Flickr, a Yahoo product. This is a free service, and easily allows you to copy and paste embed code. Some other service providers charge for third party embedding, as well as some have been sending spam emails. Please use caution when selecting your photo host.
