Overview
RecDesk can be configured so that all new accounts created online via the RecDesk Community portal must go through an approval process prior to allowing new account members to register for programs and reserve facilities. In this article you'll learn how to get this set up and to start approving new online accounts!
Before You Start
- Contact your RecDesk Customer Success Manager to Activate Online Account Approval for you;
- Be sure to set up default residency base on Town Names or Zip Codes. See How do I Set Up Residency Requirements?
- You must have a RecDesk Administrative User Role of Director or Assistant Director to approve online accounts;
- You can optionally sign up to get email alerts when new online accounts need to be approved. See How do I Sign Up for Email Alerts for Users?.
Once a customer creates and account online, go to your RecDesk Director Dashboard and under Alerts & Notices ACTION REQUIRED: There are online accounts requiring approval, click on the link Click here to go there now. You can also go to Members, then click on Online Account Approval.
