  Overview

RecDesk Software creates Team Standings in a League for your staff, or community to view.

  Before You Start

Team Standings are based on scores entered for all games played. For accurate Standings, scores must be entered for all games played. See How Do I Add a Score and/or Official(s) to a League Game?

From the Leagues tab, select the League that you wish to see standings for, and go to the Standings tab.

How Team Standings are Calculated

Team Standings are determined using a 3-step process:

  1. Calculate Winning Percentage by the Winning Percentage Calculation. If any teams are tied, use the next method (Step 2).
  2. Head-to-Head Method - Check the games where the tied teams played each other. Whoever has the most wins will be first in the Standings for those teams. If the teams are still tied, use the next method (Step 3).
  3. Calculate the Score Differential for all games played in the league (total scored minus total scored against) for each of the tied teams. The team with the highest differential points wins the tie break.
