Barcode Readers that Work with RecDesk
Any standard USB barcode reader/scanner will work with RecDesk. If you will be scanning digital barcodes, we recommend a CCD Barcode Reader; see an example here. Laser barcode readers will not work on digital barcodes.

Notes:
Most barcode scanners have warranties of between 1 and 5 years, but may not last that long if used in less than ideal conditions (pools, ice rinks, etc.), where humidity can cause them to fail prematurely. If your barcode scanner works sporadically, please consider replacing it.
