Creating or Editing a FlexForm
Adding FlexForm Elements
- When you first start a new FlexForm, the Form contains a Name and Page 1 with a TextBox and a DropDown list. These are called Elements, and all Elements you can add to a Form are in the left margin of the Form Builder Screen.
- Click on an Element and it will add it to the bottom of your form and highlight it.
For a full list of Element types, see What are All the FlexForm Elements?
Editing a FlexForm Element on a Form
- Click on the Element in the body of the form to highlight it. That Element will appear in the right margin of the screen (Edit Panel). See Notes here
- Customize the information for that field including Label, Choices and other Options. Once you update the Edit Panel, the changes will then appear on the highlighted Element on the Form.
Moving a FlexForm Element
- Click on the Element in the body of the form to highlight it
- Click the Move button within that Element
- Drag the Element to the section of the Form where you'd like it to be.
Deleting a FlexForm Element
- Click on the Element in the body of the form to highlight it
- Click the Delete button within that Element
- Click Delete to confirm.
Saving a FlexForm
- Once you are finished updating your form, click on the Save Changes button at the top of the Form.
Tips:
- When adding new choices in the Edit Panel, type the choice in the Add choice box and hit Enter.
- You can move an element on the page by clicking on it, placing your mouse on the Move button, and dragging your element up or down.
Notes:
You can COPY a FlexForm by going to the Forms List, clicking on a form, and then clicking Duplicate Form.
We now have a Rich Text Element under Page Elements which allows you edit the text in the middle of the page and change the color, font, size of text and more!
