RecDesk Engage App: Club Setup for Initial App Load

  Overview

In this article, you will review the steps to have a specific club open by default on the initial RecDesk Engage App load, instead of having to use the Club Lookup screen.

  Before You Start:

There are two options for how the app handles club selection during the initial load:

  1. No Default Club
    • The customer is directed to the Club Lookup screen after downloading the app.
    • Once they visit a club, the app will default to it on future launches.
    • Users can switch clubs at any time using the menu, the switch button, or by scanning a QR code.
  2. Default Club Set
    • A specific club is set as the default.
    • Users can still change clubs via the menu or the switch button.

  Steps For Solution

    To designate a default club:

  1. Go to the Clubs section and set the desired club as default.
  2. Navigate to Account Settings in the Cockpit.
  3. Click Club Controls.
  4. Enable the required toggle(s) to activate the default club behavior. 

Your club will now open by default for patrons using the RecDesk Engage App for the first time.
