RecDesk Engage App: Barcode Not Displaying

In this article, you will review the solution for when a household member cannot bring up their membership barcode in the RecDesk Engage app on their iPhone. All other members of the household have a barcode that displays properly, but the one user does not.

  Solution

In this case, the family member's xref list had a blank record. Remove the blank xref via the core tab of household management under the "more" dropdown options.

  Steps For Solution

  1. Login to the RecDesk Engage App cockpit
  2. From the RecTrac main menu, go to Household Management.
  3. Locate and highlight the problem household.
  4. Click Change.
  5. Locate the problem family member and click More > Edit Xref.
  6. From the Cross Reference Management DataGrid, highlight the blank record.
  7. Click More > Delete.
  8. Click Close.
  9. Click Save to save the household record.

Return to the RecDesk Engage App and attempt to access the family member barcodes. The missing barcode should now be visible.
