Overview
In this article you will learn where you can insert it and how it is done.
Where can I Insert Embed Code and How is it Accomplished
Embed code can be inserted in Program Notes, Facility Image Gallery Embed Code, on Bulk Email Campaigns, and on RecDesk Content Management pages.
Program Notes (see * in Notes here)
- Edit the program and place your cursor in the Notes field
- Paste the embed code you previously saved to the clipboard (ctrl-v)
- Locate the word width in the code and change width="xxx" height="xxx" to width="100%". See ** in Notes here.
- Click Save.
Facility Image Gallery Embed Code
- Edit the facility and place your cursor in the Image Gallery Embed Code field
- Paste as plain text (right-click and select Paste as plain text) the embed code you previously saved to the clipboard (Ctrl+Shift+v)
- Locate the word width in the code and change width="xxx" height="xxx" to width="100%". See ** in Notes here.
- Click Save.

- Create your email campaign up to where you'd like the photo. See How do I send a Bulk Email Campaign?

RecDesk Content Management Pages

- Click on the HTML button on the bottom bar of the editor box
- Paste the embed code you previously saved to the clipboard (ctrl-v)
- Locate the word width in the code and change width="xxx" height="xxx" to width="100%". See ** in Notes here.
- Click Update.
Tips:
If possible, update Urls provided in the embed code from http:// to https://. This will ensure that in browsers such as Google Chrome, the content can be viewed appropriately whether or not the user is logged into the RecDesk Community portal or not.
Notes:
* Do not add embed code to Program Description, as Community Calendar clicks will not show the picture (it will show the HTML code instead)
** For photos, remove height="xxx". For YouTube videos, slideshows from OneDrive, etc., do not remove height="xxx"
*** For bulk email campaigns, make sure the embed code does not contain an iFrame, which is not supported in an email. This means you cannot use CANVA embed codes. In addition, always Send a Test Email to your own personal email address to ensure the bulk email displays correctly when the emails are received. It's best to use a personal email address, since embedded images may appear as links instead of images, but will appear correctly on personal emails received.
